Terms of Service

Introduction

Welcome to Wopi. By accessing the Wopi website at wopi.club or using the Wopi mobile app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the website or the App.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Wopi. By using the App or website, you represent that you are 13 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using Wopi on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Account Registration

To use the App you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Keep your account credentials confidential and not share them with others
• Notify us immediately at hello@wopi.club if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

Subscription and Payments

Wopi offers optional premium subscriptions ("Wopi Premium") purchased through the Apple App Store and managed via RevenueCat. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Billing: Your subscription is billed at the price and frequency shown at the time of purchase (e.g. monthly or annually)
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via your Apple ID subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period
• Refunds: All purchases are final except where required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies
• Restore Purchases: Use the "Restore Purchases" option in the App if you reinstall or switch devices

Apple's App Store terms govern your purchase transaction. We do not have access to your payment details.

User Content

All data you enter into the App - including pet profiles, health records, weight entries, medication schedules, appointments, and journal entries - is owned by you. By using the App, you grant Wopi a limited licence to store and process this data solely to provide and improve the service. We do not sell your data.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. Wopi does not verify or validate the health data you record.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App or website for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
• Use automated means to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the service

Veterinary Disclaimer

Wopi is a record-keeping, scheduling, and reminder tool - it is not a veterinary or medical service.

Nothing in the App constitutes professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for any health concerns about your pet. Do not delay seeking professional advice or ignore veterinary guidance based on information recorded in the App.

Intellectual Property

All Wopi branding, logos, design, software, and content (excluding your user content) are owned by or licensed to Wopi and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

Your user content remains your property. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to Wopi beyond the limited licence described above.

Disclaimers

The App and website are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service
• That all data will be preserved in the event of technical failure
• That the service will meet your specific requirements

We recommend keeping your own backup of critical pet health information.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wopi's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for a Wopi Premium subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater. Wopi is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Termination

By you: You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from the Profile tab. Account deletion permanently removes all your data.

By Wopi: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, via email or an in-app notice). Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
